not worth the price

The amount paid for this location is too much for what you get. There is only communal washer/dryer that will cost $5 to complete 1 load, there is no parking, you get in trouble for using the alley between building to load things, they are lacking in recycling bins for the number of people in the building, and they went months over schedule with some of the loudest construction I have heard with no reimbursement for disrupted work (this was during covid when no one could leave the building). The only good thing I have to say is the person who works in the building doing the odd jobs is incredibly nice and effective. please give him more money

very loud and drunk people

There are very loud, drunk, foul mouth people living in apartment 33 at 136 Highland Ave. They are always out back which is where my windows are located. That would be 7 days a week at all hours of the day and night. I will happy when my lease is up in April 2023.

This place is "fine" at best. My apartment is an average place that is a bit overpriced. There isn't much for amenities that I can think of. Laundry is shared in the basement and have to pay with a specific card. It also costs $5 to wash and dry. They did construction on the outside of the building and took twice as long as anticipated with not much communication on status or end dates. Overall, I am still here because it is currently harder to move than to stay where I am. The person who works maintenance at 136 highland ave is a very nice person who is quick to fix things and always knows what to do. Whatever they are being paid isn't enough

Needs Improvement

The location is wonderful. The staff is great as well. however, there are many areas of improvement to better align the cost of living here with living environment. Such improvements may include: tending to the flooring of units. In my unit the floor is detached from the base in several areas, particularly in the living room; laundry equipment is outdated and regularly does not read cards; and internal structure that allow water and moisture damage to unit walls. I'm also not clear on the dog policy. My understanding is that there are no dogs allowed, yet, I have seen a dog. I uncertain of the exception that fall under this policy.
