Why Renters Love It Here
It's okay
Sometimes hard to get what you need as far as repairs and there's no point in having staff in the office if they can not help. It's been months since the fire and several things still need repair. Buzzer doesn't work properly. It has never. I don't like paying for services that I don't receive.
It's good!
I enjoy living here with my partner, it's been a good experience .
Review
Great location, amentities are not the best, nice staff
Decent First Place
Pros/Cons Pros: - Close to MBTA - Close to Asian food and supermarkets - Responsive maintenance - Amazon locker available/ package storage available - Overall, pretty quiet inside my apartment and a nice view (I am on the uppermost floor) - Pet friendly Cons: - Heavily reliant on the car for groceries/ places to go over the weekend - Older apartment- some things will just need to be replaced as you live in it (ie. the screen door to the balcony came broken/derailed, and the closet door came derailed) - Does not have an overhead light in some areas - Bathroom flooring is hardwood - Gym is small and outdated Overall, it is a decent place to live for someone new to Boston. Not easily accessible to a lot of green space by foot. However, it is convenient to restaurants and the MBTA Red Line. And, it is easy to drive around to get to nature/groceries. Maintenance is responsive and they will address your concerns if you report. For the price I pay in rent per month, it is average for what I expect- gym and several components in the apartment room are outdated and will need to be repaired just general functionality.
Good place in overall
Gamma at North Quincy is a good place overall but there are some issues here. 1-The number of washers and Dryers is insufficient for a High rise like this building and two of the washers are always out of order. I know management is not the cause but it should be a control on the Laundry room because some people leave their stuff in the Washer-Dryers even during work hours. 2-Visitor parking lot is not free anymore and your guest should pay for parking. Parking is not included in the monthly lease (after a 2-month lease) and you should pay $50 per month for your spot. 3-Management is good and every time that I ask for maintenance they send someone fast but the maintenance team is not very professional and they come and go multiple times to fix something. 4- This is a pet-free building and some neighbors have noisy pets that bark very loud late at night and very early in the morning.
