Walls are thin between floors, but everything about the company and building is great!

Dark and depressing apartments with little natural light. Walls and floors are super thin, so you hear everything from the neighbors, traffic, and trains

Super low ceilings (low enough to touch!) with ZERO soundproofing. Constant stomping, tons of noise from Hancock St traffic and the T, plus loud residents in the building next door. People are constantly moving in & out, which is a huge red flag tbh

This has been the worst apartment I've lived in due to poor construction and constant noise. The creaky wooden floors make every single footstep from the upstairs unit audible (you'll need earplugs if you want to sleep in). You can also hear the T constantly from the drafty windows, the toddler in the building screaming daily, and VERY loud construction basically whenever someone moves out (which tbh is very often). Think twice before renting here!!!

Hands-down the WORST apartment I've lived in, especially in terms of noise - you can hear EVERYTHING. Floors are wooden, creaky, and old, so you can hear every. single. footstep. from whoever's upstairs. Forget about going to bed early or sleeping in unless you wear earplugs every night. Did I mention the constant noise from the T coming in from the very drafty windows? The toddler that has screaming meltdowns every day, and the mom that yells back? Or the entire month where they were doing loud construction six days a week? Seriously, think twice before renting here.
