Solid location near Longwood Medical

I’ve been at the Brynx for over two years and it’s been a largely good experience. The staff are great - bring up my packages when I’m not home - and have been good to work with. Mario with Maintenance is excellent - always efficient, friendly and professional! It’s a 7 minute drive to Longwood Medical - about a 23 min walk. Covered Parking took a while to get due to a long wait list and isn’t gated which has led to some issues with other tenants. The price is fair as compared to Boston prices and for a place that is newly renovated. Front requires key fob access as do the individual residences. Guest access can be challenging for some but overall not bad. Gym is ok - could be better but has all the essentials. The terrace on the 5th floor and its accompanying indoor community area are beautiful and can be used for gatherings but the hours are limited - wish it was available 24/7 for use. That area and lobby have free WiFi. Living behind JP pond and near all the greenery can be really healing in such a pandemic stricken world. However near Heath St, things can be sketchy. Great restaurants and super hipster neighborhood with all you could need. Great if you like walking and exploring. Jamaica Way can be a busy street and thus noisy due to being a semi-freeway and close to hospitals; I place a white noise machine near my window. Overall low noise level of other tenants. People are usually friendly here. I wish the prices were more affordable but it’s Boston. Also, wish 201 was a newer building (used to a nursing home) but it is well-renovated; and wish gym was bigger/newer equipment and open 24/7. The climbing wall is cool - for beginners at best but cool. There is a Pelaton bike but often is taken. Again solid, safe and practical choice if you’re looking to be near Longwood Medical and enjoy nature.
