Great location but need to update washer and dryers so quarters are not required for laundry. Not just residents live here. Some units are Air BnB! Issues with getting into units because the key doesn't always work to get into units. Rent increases every year which is a bummer and it's usually a substantial hike.

3 great things about building: no pests, location, maintenance team is super polite and helpful! 3 worst things about building: city noise, lack of natural light, and neighbors who smoke Still would rent again!

I have lived at 144 Bowdoin for 1.5 years. The primary asset is its location in the heart of Boston.

Lived here going on for 2 years now. The location is close to everything if you work or go to school in the city. Small living space but for the young professional or single student, it has everything you really need. A little difficult to get a hold of maintenance which can be a pain. The walls can be a little thin upstairs and next to you, so it's more prone to being noisy in the building. Washing machines still take quarters which could use an update. Some tenants smoke even when the lease clearly says no smoking in the building. Living here works until it doesn't. Did I mention it's convenient???
