We’ve lived here for several years and we are happy with the building. We have had some trouble getting maintenance in a timely way, but property management is responsive and reasonable.

Honestly I applied for this apartment very last minute and I didn't even see it in person, only over a virtual tour, but I was pleasantly surprised when I got my keys and saw it for the first time. Beautiful floors, the apartment itself was very clean and nice, with a new fridge and new oven being installed at the time (that I didn't even have to deal with). I only had a couple incidents where I had to call maintenance and they fixed everything in a timely and efficient manner- crazy fast actually. The area around the apartment is literally perfect- nice neighborhood, lots of trees, Mariano's and LA Fitness right around the corner, Metra train also right around the corner, and the L is a ten minute walk away. I've always felt safe and happy in this apartment, and honestly, couldn't have asked for a better first apartment. 10/10, would recommend. Only complaint is that the laundry is in the basement but I know it's an old building and that can't always be helped.

I have lived here about a year. While street parking is not the best, at least there is a place to park. On-site paid Laundry is okay, but they could use another washer and dryer to help more folks, Never had issues when submitting a maintenance request. Cat friendly which is always a positive.

Awesome locstion, nice unit. Wish there were in-unit washers/dryers and designated parking. But great value and well-cared for building.

I've lived in this building for over 20 years. It's the perfect location based on my work (I travel around the city for an IT company), and with the Mariano's complex, the amenities are starting to become top-level for a residential neighborhood.

This apartment is affordable for the location and size of the space. Working with Peak Properties has its challenges and there are fees associated with living here that make no sense and are just so that the rental company can make a few extra dollars. They will also get you to sign an 8 month lease so they can hike the prices up on your rent each year. That being said, they are quick to respond to maintenance requests and as long as you don't go through your building manager (not much help there) you will be able to reach them if needed. The parking situation could be better and there is basically no insulation so you can hear everything your neighbors are doing and even their conversations at times. Overall, it is a good place to live and the apartment itself is beautiful.
