This apartment is beautiful while being in the sweetest neighborhood. Parking can be a little harder before 4 pm but there is always a spot. The landlord is super friendly and very timely in getting back to us. The only harder parts are the train is pretty loud and the space is pretty small for two people but all in all its worth the location and great apartment.

Love the space dearly. This is one of the best neighborhood to live in because everyhting is so accessible. Space is small but the amenities are brand new and the landlords are very helpful.

Loved my apartment at 1820 W Byron St. Great neighborhood with lots of amenities and ample parking. The only downside is that it is directly next to the Brown Line, which can be very loud. Positive interactions with staff and a very responsive team. If I weren't moving in with my partner, I would definitely look at staying with this management team, though I may look at different units with a little less noise.

Ive lived in other property management companies and Peak is certainly been the best so far. This location is excellent with transit and with local shops/restaurants. The apartment itself is a good value. Has everything you need for 1-2 people, even has a disposal in the sink.

I've lived here for one month and love it. The convenience and proximity to food, shops and public transit is a major plus. Though it is street parking, I have always been able to find parking nearby and don't have to walk too far. I am really enjoying living in my new space. If I had to name one area for improvement it would be some additional sound/noise proofing as you can really hear your neighbors sometimes and the El train is very loud, though it passes quickly

I enjoy living here but I feel like the sound proofing could be better quality considering how close it is to the L. The paint is also very bad quality and peels and cracks in and near the bathroom due to condensation from the shower. In the summer, the amount of moisture that is let in from cracks to the outside from doors and windows is unparalleled. You for sure need a dehumidifier. Maintenance is pretty great but during the winter the back is always filled with ice and no one salts more than once a month and many of us fall. I know I have once and another tenant I spoke to has fallen twice. The front vestibule in the front is so prime for stealing from other tenants. I have had 3 packages stolen at this point. After the first incident was reported to management, they refused to help in any way, refused to add cameras, refused to send out an email to everybody, and I felt very belittled and unimportant. Changing your lease in any way will result in MASSIVE amounts of money owed to the company so it is not worth making any life changes here or growing as a person and therefore it is not worth staying long in these apartments. Overall I loved my two years here, what I pointed out above are only the worst parts about this place that I wish I could change and if they changed, I would gladly stay here. There are way more good things to this apartment than bad but they bad added up after two years and I wasn't allowed to grow as a person without the threat of breaking my lease.
