Good stay

It was decent apartment . I felt laundry machine and dryer could be more efficient and bit bigger. Common bigger laundry machines (paid using app or quarters) will also add great value if added

I have lived here for 16 years. Used to be a lovely place to live, I always felt proud to show my place to friends, relatives. Older, more professional people used to live here. Now people move in and out so fast; and don't take care of the property. Now, the inside of my apt - old counter tops, cupboards need painting. carpet is more than 16 years old. I clean out the lint trap from the dryer - lots of lint behind that never gets removed - potential for fire; celing grates are filthy - never cleaned while I lived her. Used to be twice a year filters changed and smoke alarms checked that has not been done. Yet, rent keeps going up and up every year. Those of us who have lived here at least 15 years should have a hold on our rent. I take care of this place; amazing what gets put in the trash, recycling room. I pay the $12 to take my larger disposals to the land fill. Location is good next to a bus line. Used to have one car per apt in parking lot - now hardly any parking spaces to visitors. Some park in the handicap parking but don't have a handicap sign on their license plate or windshield but still are allowed to park in these spots. These surveys are taken, give comments, but no action taken.

High rent run done no upgrades

I do enjoy living at Briarwood ive lived here 8 years. Rent is over 1000.00 a minth. During this time rent has risen so high that it takes almost half of my monthly income. Im 72 and Social Security is my only source of income. I cant afford to move so im stuck. The appliances are old as well as the furnace. These leave the electric bill outrageous amounts. Air ducts are never cleaned which is unhealthy dirt blows out of my vents and strong odors fill the apartment The location is great close to shopping malls and restaurants No amenities at Briarwood Property is run down and no professional landscaping. Management is very nice but fails to follow through with problems that need addressing.

Basically satisfied

Likes living here. Good experience and good care from staff. Do believe those at the top forget the age of this building. Furnaces and vents need attention. As competition gets stronger may want to look more carefully. Staff has been and continues to be great and dedicated
