Would move but politics of management style makes you stuck

The location is great. The units are old. Paint only masks the underlying issues. The units do not have insulation properties (no thermal value windows or insulated walls) therefore cooling/electricity costs are incredibly high and expect to hear everything from the outside. Parking is ridiculous. Tenants take up 1 or 2 parking spots besides their own car port and swap spots to ensure they monopolize the quest parking spots. Every year expect a ridiculous rent increase. The office never can handle a paperwork in one visit having to return 3 or 4 times to get anything to completion. The stairs are steep and shallow making moving items into the second floor so difficult and moving about the unit a hike and dangerous. There are no lighting fixtures in the rooms so prepare to bring your own. Maintenance makes it feel like when you call for issues that were already present as though it was your fault, saying accusational things like "what did you do" when all you are trying to do is fix something to be livable and tolerable. The sidewalks are not stroll worthy that they are old, unfixed, and single-file, cracked concrete. Some areas do not even have sidewalks or the gentle slope dip onto the roadway that you have to drop the stroller and tricycle wheels directly off the curb. I have been trying to move but the politics of the place and obstacles to get out are tricky as they trap you here or pay alot due to infractions you did not know how to work around. Shifty practices.

Noise

We enjoy living here, but between the feral cats, the chickens, and the random fireworks, road noise, and flight noise, it's just a noisy place to live

Awesome place to be!

The location is convenient to shopping malls, grocery stores, out door activities and great area to be in. Housing unit is very adequate to our needs.
