Adjusting to a New Home

The Metropolitan has been the perfect beginning for any young professional who is just leaving there parent's home. It has showed the ability to have affordable and comfortable living environment, not only because we are paying rent every month, but the continued customer service and attention to details that this apartment community builds. The major strengths I would like to compliment on is the family vibes from the staff that makes approaching management comfortable and secure (especially with packages!), the immediate service provided/accessible for residents and the openness with privacy the apartment community brings. With strength, there are room for improvements, truly the parking garage is uncomfortable to park in at times and I wish the cement pillars were not the large to park in (not management's fault!). My final area of improvement would be the laundry room. I believe the laundry room needs a bit more attention when it comes to the appliances that are usually out of order more than usual. None the less, overall my experience for the past couple of months have been steady and secure when living in this DC community :)

only as good as the management

The location, value, and staff are great. Management is lacking in leadership, not being proactive, and is regularly heard yelling and demonstrating a hostile working environment for subordinates.

Great apartment!

We love living here. The staff is so friendly and responsive and the apartments are great. Weve been here almost 3 years and have no plans to leave.
