Make a gym for us. Seriously. Change the rugs that have neen ok the roof for more than 10 years, burn holes all over it — update the roof furniture too please

Location is the best part about living in this building. While a historic and beautiful structure, with a beautiful deceiving lobby, the maintenance or perhaps investments in basic infrastructural repairs to bring up to code are grossly lacking. This includes for example absent handicap ramps, poor air conditioning system that is chronically loud and always in need of repair, especially when it is most hot; some apartment units still use fuses for electricity; and the building elevators are in constant need of lengthy repairs. Access to city bus lines is a plus.

Living in The Norwood has been fantastic. The apartments are a good size and the details are stunning . The beautiful building, friendly staff and top notch location make all the difference.

I chose to live at the Norwood based on location, peice and size for living alone. I love the ease of access to 18th Street, Dupont and Kalorama without having to pay out the nose! Because the building was built in the 1920s, it doesnt have the modern boutique apartment building amenities, which I dont mind - I would rather pay less to explore the area and I still utilize the roofdeck! The new building manager is super attentive and the maintenance staff are THE BEST. Another perk is that the building is rent controlled so there sre no surprise 30% rent hikes in your future here. My one bedroom is large enough for me, my ESA dog and a work from home area. I definitely would recommend living at the Norwood!

Can you please, PLEASE replace the carpet in our hallways. Its ancient. Bomit stains. Green. Ugly AF. The walls - need painting, just like the lobby that you just finished, AND our doora need replacing. Where is our money going ?? The blue mats on the roof top are at least a decade old. Its like you pocket our money without replacing and updating the pkace inw hicb we live and support. Please replace the carpet on everu floor, paint our halls. Replace our doors, improve the rooftop —- thr new mgr is amazing, seems he is finally making changes and its about time —- please, do rhe rest… a gym in all the empty space in the basement would be nice too, and a pool. Thanks for reading.
