the Carrolton is a nice and quite place to live. the staff and is very helpful and the place is very affordable.

The community, meaning the people that live is this building and the other 3 NOVO buildings in the area are all friendly which makes it a nice place to live. It's convenient to a few metro bus stops and the Rhode Island Ave train station is about 10-15 minutes walking distance. There's also grocery store close by as well as Walgreens, CVS and a laundromat. The building itself is an older DC building but the apartments have been renovated, which I appreciate. The maintenance staff is great and typically responds pretty fast when they are alerted. There's been some turnover with the rental office staff. The current staff is friendly, but you have to continually follow-up with them on issues you're having, and I do mean continually, or it won't get done. Up until recently, they weren't even on site most days during business hours. Overall, the price is great for the area.
