Moved here because of the old charm and the quiet.

Moved here because of the old charm and the quiet. That seems to be changing a little bit with new ownership. Our location is ideal. Modern upgrades, while may be convenient, definitely of away a little bit at the historic nature of our building. Aside from that, it is still a lovely, lovely place to live. The neighbors that I have met have all been mostly kind and friendly.

Maintenance

I wish to remain anonymous please with my concerns. Sadly, the maintenance is lacking in this building. We have homeless people staying in our lobby on an almost daily basis. One homeless lady in particular visits often, perhaps because she was told it was okay by a resident (and on-site property manager) that so long as she didn't enter the building, she could sit in our lobby and stay warm. We used to have the floors cleaned and carpets vacuumed twice a week under the old management pre-sale to Urban Management. Now with the new management under Urban Management, we get these areas cleaned once a week and never on the same day of the week. Nor is it a thorough cleaning, as the maintenance person's equipment seems to be substandard or he just doesn't know how to vacuum thoroughly. We still have a boarded up window in Unit 6 that was broken in a domestic dispute back in August 2021. Just yesterday, we had a second and final warning posted on the front door from the Denver Fire Department that our fire inspection was overdue. The dryer vents in the basement laundry room are not hooked up. The dryer lint leaks right into the room. One dryer is still broken and has been for months. I hope these issues can be addressed soon. Thank you.

Slowly Improving

I have been very happy to see Marla on property lately and things getting taken care of. It was rough for a bit - no maintenance, over-grown landscaping, sprinklers creating sinkholes, 90% empty units. I'm thankful things are going back to their original state!
