Overrated apartments with helpless management

It's been the 3rd year since we moved in. Now I can say that the apartments are overrated and here is why: - Amenities listed in the lease contract are not available: fitness center for more than 1 year, grill for more than 4 months already. - Management can't solve even a simple request from the first attempt. If you need something from them it might take weeks to complete a task which requires maximum a of one hour of work. Moreover they can make mistakes in lease agreement or they can ignore you intentionally you need to remind them about your ask. If you pay monthly almost $4k you expect better service. I will never recommend this property if I'm asked in the future.

declining maintenence

the gardeners continue to destroy the grass and shrubs with poor trimming, and ;harsh mowing. they mow when the grass is wet and dig huge trenches into the grass, leaving long muddy marks. its completely unnecessary. they have walked by dead plants as well as muddy areas and broken irrigation for Months. even trash. i have mentioned this many times and Nothing improves. there are un maintained landscape roses at the entrance that have Never been trimmed in the 2 years I have been here. They raise the rent, but there is No good reason to do so, when the benefits don't exist. when I first leased I was told they would be putting in Bicycle storage into the new offices and gym they are finally building, now I am told that will not be happening. That is a big issue for me as I am on a top location and don't feel safe carrying my bike up and down stairs I am not even sure are up to code. the 2 individuals that do the building maintenance are prompt and fine, its the gardeners, and the lack of keeping them accountable that is the issue. thank you.

Survey

Overall I think I Park Lake is a convenient location but would like to a community bulletin board where we could see residents recommendations for handyman services, sell items, etc. I would also like a newsletter so I can keep up to date on everything

Problem areas

I have been here 7 months. In that time I have seen the landscaping take a serious dive. It was always just average, but now it has not been maintained for all this time and there are dead plants around the property, many, actually most plants have not been trimmed or deadheaded at all and it leaves the area looking like no one lives here. But we DO live here and pay handsomely to do so. they mow the lawn once a week, BUT they leave the cuttings on the grass to die and mat down the lawn. I don't understand this. this is a great area, with a beautiful neighborhood next door. I don't think it takes much to show some pride in the landscaping. The investment is lost when you let it degrade. I am sure rents will rise and it makes me so very sad and disheartened that they have no interest in making the property look as good as possible. It has nothing to do with the draught either, this is cheapness and laziness. Hire some gardeners who take pride in their work, its not that hard.
