Burbank Village Apartments

I have lived here for 8 1/2 years and up until 2 years ago, I loved it. I was willing to overlook Sarah’s attitude issues, lack of availability, and promptness to keep the building running smoothly for the first year with her being new, but I am now at the end of my limit. I have attempted on multiple occasions to communicate and fix problems as they arise, but she does not activate on important issues brought to her attention. Nor does she follow up on problems the community or individual tenants face. I have now had at least two inspections or entrances to my apartment that I was not made aware of- which is a violation of my rights as a renter. It is absolutely unacceptable that I and my fellow tenants pay so much in rent to have callboxes that are unreliable, mail not able to be delivered for months, external doors left open all day and night, an extremely high raise on laundry prices for consistently broken washers (and the occasional dryer), constant construction, a spa that never works, ant problems, and a live-in manager with hardly any availability who never communicates, follows up and scowls at you when you walk by. The cleaning staff and the maintenance team have done an excellent job, I cannot include them in this review, they are all very friendly and supportive when they are needed. I know you are aware of these issues, I have seen the google and yelp reviews. I am trying to go about this in the right way by communicating at this level since it seems I am having no luck communicating directly with Sarah herself. Thank you for your time.

love how quiet it is 24/7! Hot tub is a great amenity and so is the sundeck!

Lived here 1 year. I am most appreciative of the excellent maintenance of every aspect of an older apartment building. Love the roominess not found in newer apartments. Balcony doors and bedroom window fill the place with light. High ceilings give the impression of living in a townhouse. I also appreciate the laundromat in the courtyard. People who live here have careers and lead quiet lives. I highly recommend Burbank Village Apartments.

Good place to live but there are some maintanence issues

I like the environment, it's nice and quiet here. The location isn't the best proximity to things like cafes, stores, etc but it's still good place to walk and bike. Staff is great, Sarah is a wonderful on-site manager, very courteous and helpful. I think with more support she will be able to efficiently tackle any maintenance requests and questions. Tenants have a lot of needs and questions so I can see it tends to get busy here. Kyle our maintenance technician is great too. He's able to fix our issue requests quickly and is super polite. If the management is open to it, my hopes and dreams I have for this building are: 1) Bike parking storage area. 2) More general storage space like an overhead cabinet in our parking spot. 3) More lounge furniture/decorations for the common outdoor patio deck.

It has been great. It is clean and quiet.
