Amazing location. It is a lovely mid-century building. We love living here but wish management would do a better job of maintaining the property. All porches and railings are desperately in need of paint. (please hire professionals, the touch up done y building maintenance was a joke which wash off when it got wet) The beautiful patio is scarred by a floor surface that is decades past due in resurfacing. The wrapped and buckled "For Lease" sign should be replaced. Trees and bushes on the Palisades side need to be trimmed as they are hitting the building and encroaching on the walk way. All of the things I suggest would add value to the perception of the property. I will continue to hold out hope to see some of these addressed (professionally) some day.

love living here. lovely building with lovely surroundings, beautiful area of Santa Monica. relatively quiet, wonderful neighbors. Pool is beautiful and well kept.Maintenance is extremely good and reliable and efficient. Patio area above is very bad and ugly and very old. Stairs to upper apartments are very old and can be dangerous. Building needs update.

Great Community within Building

I really enjoy living here. The community is lovely and the building is overall well maintained with easy ability to contact maintenance if need be. I will say there was not a lot explained to me upon move in and I had to find out through other tenants (who are lovely) that I had access to a storage unit, etc but I had to ask for keys for access to this and to the laundry room, which were not provided to me upon move in. It wasn't a huge deal but I went six months without access to these things so it would have been nice to have keys provided and these amenities noted upon move in. I also was not aware how to buzz packages in, nor that I had my own door code. Another tenant showed this to me. To my knowledge most of the residents still do not know that they have their own access code to the building. I also don't have a key to access the gate should any power outages occur but many tenants do so I wonder if I was not provided this as well. It's not a huge deal but is always nice to know/have access to things upon move in. It would also be lovely if we could heat the pool so that it could be used more :) Thank you!
