Pets allowed. Pet Restrictions: Sixth & Jackson Apartments accepts up to two indoor pets per apartment. Dogs are restricted by breed. Cats and dogs must be spayed/neutered, licensed and inoculated as required by local law for each animal. Resident must keep licenses and inoculations current within the local municipality. All other types of animals must be caged. Reptile and fish tanks cannot exceed 25 gallons without management approval. Tanks exceeding 25 gallons will only be allowed in first floor apartments. Animals trained to assist blind, deaf, or other disabled individuals are always permitted. Dog Breed Restrictions: Dogs are restricted by breed and Shea Apartments does not allow any of the following breeds or any mix of the following breeds: Akita, Bullmastiff, Chow Chow, Doberman Pinscher, German Shepherd, Mastiff, Shar Pei, Rottweiler, Pit Bull Terrier including Staffordshire Terrier, Am. Staffordshire Terrier or Bull Terrier, Presa Canario or Wolf Dog. Dog Registration Requirements: We pride ourselves on being a pet-friendly community and kindly ask pet owners to do their part. To encourage responsible pet ownership, all dogs must be registered with PooPrints to help with pet waste management. PooPrints uses DNA technology to match dog waste to the dog/dog owner. The PooPrints registration fee is $50.00 per dog and is non-refundable. Dogs must be registered with PooPrints within 5 days of the dog owner’s lease start date. The dog owner agrees to add/display a PooPrints tag on their dog's collar for proof of registration. If your dog has an accident in a common area, please contact us immediately so we can provide immediate clean-up and reduce/eliminate any potential cost to you. All pet owners must follow community guidelines. Pet Rent: There is an additional $35 per month pet rent per cat and $65 per month pet rent per dog. Pet Deposits: 1 or 2 cats: $500 1 cat and 1 dog: $850 1 dog: $600 2 dogs: $1,000.

While the apartment community itself is generally well maintained, there is one serious issue that significantly impacts the quality of life for residents. Several times a week, garbage trucks arrive around 3:00 AM to collect trash. The noise generated by the trucks, including engine noise, backup alarms, and the repeated lifting and dropping of dumpsters, is extremely loud and regularly wakes me up in the middle of the night. Being awakened at 3:00 AM makes it difficult to get a full night's sleep and affects my ability to function the next day. This must be rectified immediately by shifting the collection timing.

The location is good, the apartment and amenities are good, but the management staff don’t care for their residents. They seem to switch up rules all the time and don’t work with residents. Management recently started towing for retail, however, don’t post physical signs and expect residents to know, when confronted they don’t actually provide any physical proof of policies that reflect it.

the equipment in gym needs to be fixed, the rope of the gantry frame has worn off its sheath and can no longer be used

Overpriced for size. Lots of pot smokers in building but yet supposed to be non smoking. Limited parking makes your car dangerous to others. Noisy partying.
