This place is a hidden gem in the Blossom Hill area of South San Jose. The perfect combination of location, value, safety and living standards, I consider myself lucky to have found this community 3 years ago! I have had no complaints having lived here for so long and if anything, the experience has only gotten better ever since the Management changed and Greystar took over. If anything, the only complaint I have with the amenities is that there are too few EV charging stations and they are not set up for shared use. If they are able to figure out a solution for that, this would be a 5-star community across the board! I will definitely recommend Ascent to anyone who is looking for an apartment to lease.

It is a bit expensive. I was hoping to of gotten some kind of discount being a first responder. I understand they take lower income people as well, was hoping for some kind of benefit. Great maintenance crew. The stackable washer and dryer are a joke. Too small would take forever to do laundry.

I've been living here close to 10 years, and have seen how the place has (and hasn't) changed over the years. It's a beautiful, quiet, and very lovely area close to parks, food and grocery, and a Lightrail station. It's walkable, convenient, and very safe. I've loved living here and hope to continue for a long time. The units are nice and modern, though the appliances are getting older. The amenities are great and regularly maintained. Maintenance is helpful and quick. The whole place is getting older and looks less fresh than it did when I first moved here, as it was a fairly new building at that time.
