What others love about this property:
This place is alright. There's construction nearby and some homeless walk past sometimes but, the size of the apartment makes the price worth it. It is not the most renovated place. Drawers, cabinets, and closets seem like they have not been updated since the construction of the building in the 1920s. Everything has been painted over so many times that a lot of the cabinets don't close all the way or get stuck. Very spacious and a 10-minute drive to SJSU.
We pay 1595 a month for what feels/looks like a 60 dollar a night motel. But I guess thats what you expect from the Bay Area ?????

Lived here for 6 months now and the price seems a little expensive for the place but, it is San Jose so, it's alright. Right now they are building a homeless shelter in the next lot over so, it is a bit loud and the roads get a bit hard but, otherwise, the place is good. I wish they'd renovate the drawers and cabinets because they haven't been changed since the 1920's it seems and they don't close all the way because of how many times the landlord has repainted over them. Chris, the landlord, has a bubbly personality and seems sort of hands-off the place. Overall, it's just a temporary place to live.
Moved into this quirky unit about a month ago. So far so good. There was a motel next door to the property, since moving in, however, fore mentioned motel has been tore down. I believe nee apartments will be replacing it. I believe this area will be the next up and coming area. Normally a quiet part of town but the day time construction it a bit of a pain. Not many amenities, but good parking situation. Haven’t had any maintenance needs or concerns, so I have nothing to say to that. The bathroom is the only real knock on the apartment, but the big kitchen and living room make up for it. Management has been pretty easy to work with so far. Down the street from the heart of Japantown, 5-10 from DTSJ and 5 mins from 101, 880, 87.
