Why Renters Love It Here
Great location
Very attentive management and grateful for Jenny.
Honest Review
This was a last minute choice to live since we were all out of options. It was not worth it at all and for the price you pay monthly then it is blatant robbery. You're paying almost $1000 a month each person for a room smaller than a living room. The building is probably located in the worst neighborhood in the state of California in my time there I witnessed 2 separate occasions of shootings right outside the building. To be fair to the security guards who work there they always did their job and there was never any incidents inside the building and were always helpful. The my first 2 months there the water to the building was shut down for "maintenance" meaning we had no ability to shower, do laundry or use the toilets or even water for drinking. For a month I had to travel back and forth to my university campus gym to just shower which was an hour commute everyday. Now you would think if the building couldn't offer the basic necessity of water they could lower rent a little or offer assistance of some sort. Nope, neither the previous building manager or the Found Study organization offered that type of help except the offer of "$100 off rent for a month if we write a favorable review of FoundStudy". Which shows me they could have lowered the rent during the waterless month but they decided not to. Now aside from that the people who live here more often than not are the loudest most inconsiderate neighbors you will have. Obviously not everyone in the building are like this but many were. Even though quiet hours begin at 10 I remember nights when people are in the lobby playing the piano or drums at 12:00 or 1:00 in the morning. Also the kitchen so many times was left filthy by the people who used it, it was almost like they expected someone else to clean it. The only thing that is positive about the place is that it is very close to the MUNI/Bart entrance. The new building manager Jenny has improved it a little but this was my experience here at FoundStudy
Good place to live
I lived here 7 weeks to work at an internship in the area. Found study is a nice place for young people to live for a short period of itme. It is decently priced, safe, and quiet. Only things that weren't the best was the cleanliness of the kitchens, no vending machine, and it can be noisy at night from cars/construction/or neighbors. Other than that I enjoyed my time living here and would rate it a 7.9/10
Good Appartment
The appartment was cozy, comfy, and very welcoming. It was very close to our college : the University of San Francisco. Indeed, you could walk 5 minutes to get there.
Great property managers and staff. Noisy outside
Its been good so far! The tour was great and everyone has been really nice!
