I noticed my utility bills were extremely high compared to previous places. Garbage - double the price, water $150 for 1 person. It came to my knowledge that people under old contracts don't pay for utilities, so the entire burdain is distributed amongst us, new arrivals. There are no personal water meters. As a result, what I am saving in rent by living in Tenderloin is compensated in high utility bills, making newer buildings with amenities in a nice neighborhood equal in price!

It’s been a bumpy ride beginning my lease as my original lease wasn’t calculated properly and when the new one was sent for me to sign the it came with little instruction on how to pay for adjustment in deposit. I was given a three day notice before being contacted with how to pay. Also, I knew parking would be a challenge here, but it’s REAL bad.
