What was once a reasonable place to call home has deteriorated markedly under new management. Persistent elevator failures force residents (often carrying groceries/goods) to navigate unnecessarily long routes to their units. A broken entry door, formerly accessible via app, has been non-functional for over a month and now slams shut unassisted, creating a genuine hardship for residents with disabilities who must manage mobility devices while wrestling with an intermittently responsive lock in a dimly lit parking structure. Safety and security concerns are compounding: vagrant access to the parking area, a deteriorating mail room with inadequate lighting and no secured entry, and increasingly chaotic parking behaviors; including vehicles angled across multiple spaces which create daily hazards. Noise concerns and delayed access to laundry facilities and amenities further erode quality of life. Trash cans and foul-smelling bags/boxes line the hallways at all hours, obstructing residents, porters, delivery personnel, and those with mobility devices, despite explicit community rules governing what may be placed in hallways and when. The irony is not lost: management has cited appearances as justification for inaction elsewhere, yet tolerates this unsightly and hazardous condition daily. Most troubling is management's response: conflicting excuses, deflection to contracted vendors who redirect residents back to management, and conduct toward at least one resident that crosses professional boundaries. Residents raising legitimate concerns deserve transparent communication and accountability, not dismissal. Until management demonstrates a willingness to engage constructively, prospective residents should carefully weigh what they're signing up for.
