The locatuon is great, however the on site staff isnt always friendly. Additionally, the prices for all of the other miscellaneous fees that we pay every month continue to go up, yet the aneneties aernt upgraded.

Many of you coming to this review page for Playa Pacifica are doing so to evaluate whether significant red flags exist about the property that should inform your decision about moving there. As a longtime Playa Pacifica resident, it brings me no joy to report that there is a serious pot smoking scourge on the premises that should give any prospective resident pause about making a home there. An on-premises pot smoking scourge is bad enough, but it has been greatly exacerbated by an apathetic, ineffectual property manager who has consistently demonstrated that she is wholly incapable of addressing this serious quality of life issue. Known residents below myself and other adjacent tenants are expelling carcinogenic plumes of pungent pot smoke out the back of their unit. And that pot smoke immediately rises and streams right into our living rooms and sleeping areas. So strong are these pot smoke plumes that I am regularly awoken out of a deep sleep, thereby interrupting my essential nightly rest and negatively impacting my mental acuity the next day. Most incidents occur during the 12A - 6A window. We have been instructed to contact the security company when these pot smoke ambushes occur. Recall that the pot smoke gets expelled *out* the back of the offender’s unit, several stories above the ground. After a 20-minute lag, the security officer makes a highly cursory patrol and documents that no pot smoke was detected. S/he makes that assessment standing 3 stories below the offending unit and by walking by the front door at the unit’s front end. Pot smoke plumes, which rise, will never be detected by someone standing 3 stories below them. And pot smoke being *expelled out* the back of a unit will never accumulate at the front door. Management won’t resolve this issue. If it is important to you to breathe clean, carcinogen-free air in your home that is not subject to frequent pot smoke incursions, you will find Playa Pacifica incompatible with that aspiration.

I love this property, but wish that it would be cleaned thoroughly on a daily basis. Myself and another neighbor have seen the same trash in the hallway's and elevator for days. There's often a smell in the stairwells and would like if the glass doors/windows would also be cleaned daily.
