Cats must be indoor only and be spayed or neutered. An additional $300 will be added to the security deposit and $25/month rent will be charged for each pet. Jamai the apartment manager lives here, so of course she wishes she could be nicer to her tenants. But I can't say enough how much the landlord seems to enjoy inflicting misery on his tenants....even if it costs him money to do so. Also there are serious mold and plumbing issues, the mold problem ranges apartment to apartment, so be sure to check IN PERSON before you sign. Also know that there will be plumbing issues, so the water will regularly be turned off with little or no warning, you'll not have hot water sometimes. There are many nicer apartments that are a lot cheaper and still convenient for this area, go to one of them.

I have no major complaints. The rules (pets, decorations on balconies, laundry hours, etc) sometimes changed often and quickly and the reasons why were not clear. Other than that no complaints.

It is not Jasmin's fault that Silicon Valley has a HUGE housing problem. She and the location of Midtown are fantastic. However, Prodessa is - like so many here - GOUGING and greedy for hurting those who can least afford it - teachers, hourly workers and less educated. Such a pity...
