The Logan

Excellent building with wonderful, careful, thoughtful staff. Great amenities from mezzanine to gym to co-working space to rooftop deck, and excellent location in Temescal with Whole Foods on the ground floor. Tough to beat!

Things are constantly broken

I love my actual apartment, and building overall is nice. The people who work here are really kind and helpful. The problem is that stuff constantly breaks. My shower floods the bathroom and has since day 1, despite maintenance trying and failing to fix it. The elevators are broken more often than not. The trash chutes haven't worked for at least the last month. The parking garage floods and smells -- not sure if that's because of mold or sewage backup but it's disgusting. These are inconveniences that are unacceptable for a luxury building with rent as high as it is here. We also pay SO much for monthly trash service, and the amount has nearly tripled since I moved in (which makes no sense since the building is now full).

Gorgeous location, fire alarms and trash

I've been here 8 months or so. The trash chutes have been broken for two weeks and of the two elevators, sometimes both work, so it's a bit slow. There are a surprisingly large number of fire alarms. The location is great, the roof is gorgeous but needs better furniture arrangement and for some reason people don't use it much. Having an overpriced grocery store downstairs is convenient. Package delivery is quirky but effective.
