Great apartment in Temescal

Spacious, South facing apartment with plenty of natural light. Apartment has AC which is great for summers in East bay. Staff are friendly, and maintenence gets done quickly. Apartments are pet friendly, though parking is expensive.

Like only OK

The staff is very nice and attentive and the units are great and the location is prime. For a large building, it does not make sense why the gym is so small. It's hard to have more than 3 people in there at once. The other thing that is annoying are the ridiculous fees associated with the rent. We are spending almost $400-$500 a month on miscellaneous building fees, which would be ok if the amenities were better. The Logan is dog friendly, which is wonderful but no place for dogs in the building on the property to run, play or go potty. It really is just OK. It's nice for the year lease but I doubt we will stay after that.

Wish the retail space downstairs will open soon. A specialty cafe/bakery (e.g. sightglass/blue bottle/hedge/tartine/equator/starter/b parisserie/neighborbakehouse etc) will be nice ;)
