on site so called manager non existent, except for night manager Paul, several washing machines have not been working for months, the dryers often have to be paid twice to able to dry one load, company does not fix the machines

Long term renter with Madison Park. Generally it has been satisfactory. Staff (the people I’ve dealt with) have been helpful, with the exception of a couple managers. That would be a situation to be considered. High turnover of mangers. 8 managers in 10 years seems high.

Living here is good but things need to be fixed and things were broken. When I moved in, the oven does not work. The sink is leaking outside lights are not replaced and the building was not done with proper insulation so that you can easily hear your neighbors.

I've lived here many years. we've dealt with a lot of drama - both external and internal. Lots of turnover with management, maintenance. I don't think employees are treated very well. Building management has mostly been very mediocre - they seem to be overworked and spread thin and pressured to rent units, but after that we're kind of in the weeds. They don't seem to care much about building security. Our current maintenance person is fantastic.

I have been living here 5 weeks, so far the tenants seem friendly and respectful. There is a mouse in my apartment I sent a text to the realty manager however I did not receive a response, it seems out of balance that there is a 100 page lease but no response to the fact that there is a rodent in my apartment, I would appreciate it if this could be addressed.

I have lived here for the last 8 years. This is a unique place to live as it is in a very industrial part of Oakland, on the BART tracks, with a lot of traffic noise week days during business hours. But, evenings and weekends are blissfully quiet and the large units make up for a lot. This is a community that support each other and get to know each other. It is not for everyone but for those that it works for, it works well.
