I used to live here...

I lived in this building from 1977 to 1979... great location, I attended the California College of Arts & Crafts just a few blocks away. I could walk almost anywhere. Lots of street parking then. The photos are startling! the exterior the same, but the interior...holy cow. It was so cute & 1920s period back then! very vintage! very charming! I had glass door china cabinets in the dining nook and a real "ice box" in the kitchen. A big kitchen pantry too! There was a cute dressing room just outside the bathroom. Sad to see it so modernized. I loved that place, it was my first real apartment. Oh and I'll break your heart: my rent for a 1 bedroom was $199.50 a month.

Property manager is great. Building is older but well maintained. Windows need to be replaced. People are generally courteous and quiet.

Overall good but too noisy

Love the apartment but its very noisy because of the upstairs neighbor and all the noise on this side of the building.
