Application Process

On September 17, 2014, I met with Michael at The Lofts Security Building, and he was great. He took me on a tour of available lofts, answered all my questions, and set down with me through the application process on a scale of 1 to 10, defeatingly a 10. Thank you, Michael, for being so great.

Excellent Tour

On September 14, 2024, I took a tour with Sara at The Lofts at The Security Building. She was so amazing and kind, with a lot of knowledge and customer service experience that was great. Lofts at Security Building

The building is vintage and the lofts are big with awesome windows. The entire building has a ton of character and is great, for the most part. 1. The windows need cleaning. I've been here 4 yrs and have never seen the outside of the building windows cleaned. 2. The windows need painting and maintenance. The frames are over 100 yrs old and there's a lot of damage that needs assessed. 3. The hallways need painting. Some are a horror show. 4. The appliances are an average of 12 yrs old. Some of this is fine, but the energy efficiency is not what it could be because of that. 5. Most units could support a washer/dryer combo. Why not upgrade? 6. Outside security needs to be more active in the alley and on 5th street. Other than that, it's pretty good here. The neighbourhood is gritty, but you're steps from awesome stuff and you're in the one area in LA where you can survive without a car.
