WAIT LIST IS NOW CLOSED  Santa Cecilia is an exciting apartment community, located in the Boyle Heights neighborhood, East of downtown Los Angeles. This affordable housing rental community opened in June of 2017. The mixed-use building features one, two and three bedroom units for large families. The property has a fully-furnished community room, a fitness center and four resident courtyards for community gathering areas. Units features Energy Star appliances, extra storage closets and vinyl plank flooring, among other amenities. Residential parking is provided in a secured underground parking garage. Remember, it's not just an apartment, it's your home! Santa Cecilia is also a registered Platinum LEED for Homes project. LEED stands for  Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. It is a building and operations rating system that provides a framework for identifying and implementing practical and measurable sustainable building design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions.  LEED is administered by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), a 501(c)(3) non-profit that works to promote buildings and communities that are environmentally responsible, profitable and healthy places to live and work.  LEED certification provides independent, third-party verification that a building was designed and built using strategies aimed at achieving high performance in key areas of human and environmental health. For Santa Cecilia, that includes the ways in which the community and site were designed, the energy efficiency of the building and its systems, like air conditioners, lighting, appliances, and the hot water system, the materials that were used in the building, the plumbing fixtures that save water, and the ventilation systems and materials that affect indoor air quality.
