I just moved to La from NYC. And the apartment and area has been amazing. Good restaurants around, cofes and a school that makes this area very safe

The building is really old and doesn’t have air conditioning. Management isn’t that great either and are unwilling to provide quick solutions to maintenance issues.

This place is okay. Like all of LA, overpriced but it is what it is. Laundry room has only one working dryer but it works well. Our apartment had quite a few things that needed fixing. My biggest annoyance at the moment is the landlord. I locked myself out a night (my fault 100%) and I knew it was late to ask for help. I reached out either way to see if it was possible. If not, no sweat there’s always tomorrow. The landlord saw my messages and didn’t respond. I had asked if it was possible to help the same night if not tomorrow morning. He left me on read and that was that. He never followed up or called or anything. The next morning, my gf mom had spare keys and helped us out but we became late for work because of a landlord who doesn’t deserve it. Gilberto, you need some classes in management because you could’ve cost me and my girl a whole day of work. To this day, he hasn’t reached out or apologized for not doing anything. I seriously believe he needs to step down and do something else because management does not fit his description.

No on-site management or staff, no numbers for immediate repairs.

Well, we have been living here for over 20 years. The residents who have lived here for 20 years and over have no parking available to us. even if we are willing to pay. We were told that no spaces are available. However new tenants whom are Filipinos or have family of someone in management always gets parking even if they moved in here last year. As of May 2020, we have had access to ONE washer and ONE dryer (must pay) for the entire building to use. And in addition to that, the laundry room is currently infested with FLEAS. Management never gets back to us. NO manager on site. Rent up yearly. NO call box. and lastly, possums.
