Review of 4847 Oakwood
Lived here for close to 3 years. Enjoy that rent is not increasing and that the apartment is relatively quiet.
Best value
Location, parking, amenities are all great here; staff / maintenance is pretty good about getting back to you on a timely manner if you need anything. Only con to living here is the walls aren't very soundproof and people have a habit of blasting music loudly; the neighborhood is quite loud too with continuous construction.
4847 Oakwood Review
Walls aren't soundproof; unfortunate for units next to construction since it can be extremely loud and early in the mornings, some neighbors also have a habit of blasting music during the day or at night which can be heard through the walls. Maintenance has been good for the most part about fixing things for the apartment
Many disrespectful tenants and lack of noise control
Many tenants here show no respect for their neighbors and some structural problems really need to be fixed. 1. This is a non-smoking building but tenants smoke marijuana, vaper, e-cigarette, cigarette, either in their unit and in common area. 2. Some units throw party every weekend with 10 to 20 people, they keep being loud until early morning even in common area (and never clean after themselves i.e. throwing up in hallway). 3. Rooftop floor is very bad. Can hear every step they make. Some tenants don't stop running/pounding there and it sounds destroying the ceiling downstairs. 4. Dropping gym equipment/weights echoes the entire building. Tenants know that they shouldn't do it for other neighbors but they keep doing it. It's worse when happens at night. 5. Loud music played by few tenants shakes entire floors and walls of other tenants. 6. Dog pee smells in common area.
