Amazing place! Its been 3 years and it has been rhe best 3 years for sure!!!

Not the cleanest building. The trash room is always open wide so it smells the entire walkway. One elevator that residents use daily is missing a complete elevator wall so it get extremly hot sril not insulation. Be aware the washer and dryers are extremelt old and not great

I usually don't write reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience at The Cartwright Apartments. I moved out of my one-bedroom apartment (Unit 439) on August 2, 2025. The apartment was absolutely clean and in perfect condition when I left - I have full photo documentation taken right after move-out. When the manager collected the keys, she even confirmed that everything looked great and the apartment was in excellent condition. She mentioned the only possible charge could be for some extra cleaning, which as we all know usually costs around $150-200 at most. Despite this, management kept my entire $750 security deposit and even wrote that I supposedly owed them an additional $4, which they "kindly forgave." In the end, I received nothing back. Never in my life have I experienced anything like this - having a total of $754 taken for an apartment that was spotless and had zero damage. Future tenants should be aware of how security deposits are handled here.

The staff is great and the location is excellent. Amenities are average only because of the limited gym equipment. Pool and barbecue areas are quite nice. The only big downside is the trash which constantly accumulates in the hallways due to the "trash service." Tenants don't follow the rules and trash can sit in the hallways for a couple of days without being removed.
