Questionable building manager Alex

Summit used to have a building manager that valued the relationships he had with the residents. He treated us like neighbors. The new manager, Alex, doesnt. Alex has been here for over 6 months but i still havent met him. He sends emails announcing last minute maintenance, giving residents no time before water shut off or other building maintenance. He didnt know until the day of that the laundry company was replacing the entire fleet of laundry machines. Many residents had just loaded their laundry cards for the previous machines. The only building events we have had were starry internet promotions. Barely a building manager, definitely not a community manager. Why im writing this review is because of all the things he doesnt do, he called security on me for parking in not my spot for an hr. I have tandem parking and parked in an empty spot to let my partner park first. Its saturday night at 1030, i had a 12 hour work day, and this Alex calls security on me. A decent manager, and neighbor, would maybe realize im a person and can be spoken to. If a neighbor that i knew did something like that, a normal thing would be to knock on their door, or text. Alex knows all my info, but decided to send security as what? It was unneighborly and rude as a manager. Was it alexs spot? The three spots he parks one car in? Great. Nice building. Inept manager.

I'm very content with my apartment and building The Summit

The building and grounds feel very secure and I believe very well maintained. Parking, security gate, laundry room, lobby, mail service, rooftop pool/patio... all very lovely and functional. I also love my executive single, but would consider moving to a 1-bedroom if the price is right, and provided I am doing well financially. Only ONE request: PLEASE DON'T RAISE MY RENT.
