I have lived here for over 5 years and this is by far the worst situation I have experienced. For the past 2 months, there has been a consistent sanitation issue directly outside my unit involving two dogs repeatedly using a nearby patio area as a bathroom. This has been happening every single day. The odor is strong enough that I cannot leave my windows or door open without it affecting my apartment. This has impacted my ability to comfortably live in my own space. I reported this issue multiple times and while I was told steps were being taken, the problem continued on a daily basis. The situation was not resolved for an extended period of time despite it being a clear violation of community policies and basic sanitation standards. I documented the conditions with photos and video because of how consistent the issue has been. No resident should have to deal with something like this on a daily basis.

I’ve lived at The Asher Apartments in Fremont for approximately 5.5 years, and I’ve been dealing with an ongoing sanitation issue for nearly two months that has been extremely frustrating and is still not fully resolved. I live on the fourth floor, and there have been daily instances of dogs from a downstairs unit relieving themselves in the area below my balcony. The odor from urine, feces, and even the cleaning products used afterward rises into my unit, and I continue to deal with this on a daily basis. I reported this multiple times, spoke directly with management, and provided photo and video documentation, including as recently as Sunday. I also submitted a complaint through Greystar’s website and contacted the City of Fremont code enforcement. As of now, I have not received any response back from those submissions. Management has informed me that the tenant may be moving out, but I have not been given a confirmed move-out date, and in the meantime the issue is still ongoing and affecting my living conditions. I understand that situations like this can take time to resolve, but this has been going on for nearly two months. I’m disappointed that something impacting basic quality of life was not addressed more quickly, and that I am still dealing with it while waiting for a resolution. As of the time of this review, the issue is still ongoing.

Location, parking, views from patio, gym, swimming pool etc everything is awesome. And staff is the best.

The apartment offers amazing experience. Few of the amenities need better maintenance. Like Pool tables quality has deteriorated very badly. Some TVs not functioning well. Tenants need to avoid rough use as well.
