Pets are allowed which is a plus or minus depending on how you feel about animals. Amenities are great and the staff is great. No complaints from me!

I have lived in privately owned apartments, big complex apartments, duplexes and dorms - but Baywind blows all the others away. The community is big enough to have all the amenties (pool, laundry, garages, yards) but small enough to know your neighbors and feel like the closest ones have your back. I absolutely love to come home. I can be on the noisy freeway one minute, and five minutes later in my back/corner apartment far from any crowd, sitting on my patio meditating to my water fountain. The current Property Manager is attentive, and "thinks like a tenant." She understands and things get done. The grounds are well-kept and pleasant, nice mix of kids, married, single, older and younger residents. I love where I live.
