Access to all my amenities outside of my residence is convenient for me. The Managament and staff are easy to communicate with and the only challenge is related to the motorcyclists who tend to frequent the area in the late or wee hours of a given day. But the overall value of the location and residence is nearly perfect for me.

With the exception of the occasional late night motorcyclists, it has been a mostly quiet and respectable community here at Topanga Canyon Terrace. I appreciate the professionalism and courtesy of the the building management and of how quickly maintenance takes care of any issues that can arise. Coupled with how easily it has been to communicate with them regarding my situational needs during Covid, I fully appreciate the comforts and peace-of-mind provided as a result. The ease of access I have to the surrounding area for my every day needs is also a welcomed plus. Thank you for welcoming me to your community. Topanga Canyon Terrace has been one of the better experiences I've had at an apartment complex over the years.

On a Sunday my smoke detector started making the loudest noise (it was not the battery) and maintenance came out right away to take care it. I want to to thank them for their prompt attention.

I remember the good old days but these are no longer them. I wish I could put a better review than this but after 16 years of being a loyal resident the management company has not shown much loyalty back. Even now with the COVID-19 pandemic they prove my point. They raised my rent and said that the last two months were really just a courtesy that they didn't raise it then, I also pay over $140 in other things on top of the rent every month. When I called the housing dept. they said, there are no rent control protections on the building so the owners can literally charge what ever they want, for what ever they want, when ever they want. But the housing dept. said this management company has NO Compassion to do this to you NOW. A little comfort but no help, There is nothing to this building you have 4 washers and 4 dryers and 2 BBQs. There are 1-2 parking spots per apartment underneath the apartments. No pool, no spa, no jacuzzi, no garden and we are to remain in the apartment at all times. You can not loiter by the BBQ. You cook and you go back into your apartment. You want to go outside, then you are told to go to the park next door. Apparently, this building is deemed a "quite" building. Which it was not when I first moved in. Nejla the manager and Silviana the maintenance tech have tried to do their best to make it a better building. But you can't ignore all the plumbing and leaking problems, the lack of amenities and the imposed lock down in your apartment. I don't even know most of my neighbors because we are not allowed to solicit in the main areas. If you like to go from home to work and home again without human interactions then this is the place for you. But if you have noisy kids or pets and you hate being locked in your apartment look somewhere else where you can leave your apartment without leaving your building.
