The unit wasn't cleaned properly from the previous tenant - lots of oil and grease left. Issues with flies and silverfish. The laundry is always broken or gross and in use. Plumbing of drains is always backed up. Super loud location, from toxic leaf blowers to street noise to vibrating plumbing to noisy neighbors in the building and the neighboring building and street truck noise. The building doesn't include utilities (not listed in the lease) and won't provide billing information on the bill breakdown when requested. The manager expects you to put in all maintenance requests yourself instead of reporting to them to do their job. Unit is designed to have no ventilation, cross-breeeze or view. Looks at cement building, gets pretty much no light. Oven ventilation doesn't work, smokes up the unit. Heater doesn't work, makes unit smokey and smells like rotten eggs. Waste of money. What a bummer. Landlord only took money order or personal check, didn't divulge that rent could be paid online, then had issues with rent cafe working. WIll move out as soon as possible, wish money could be returned.
