Disappointed

Signed lease after being promised amenities but gym, study spaces, and pool have been under construction since the building opened to residents. Paying extremely high price for no reason. The room’s walls are also very very easily dirtied

Best property in the heart of downtown!

B28 is a newly developed property right on Bancroft x Shattuck. In addition to its easy access to Target, TJ, restaurants and bars in downtown, B28 also has its own set of amenities - rooftop bar and grill, gym, barbecue. Highly recommended if you have flexibility on your budget!

B28 Big Upgrades

B28 is a brand-new building with some of the best amenities in town. It is a few blocks from the west side of UC Berkeley campus but requires crossing Shattuck. The building is very close to Downtown Berkeley, where there are homeless people but it is generally safe. The staff is quite nice and responsive. The apartment comes with window coverings and great, new appliances. The community and surrounding area has been quiet so far. It has been a good experience living here -- and a huge upgrade from my previous Berkeley apartment. You get what you pay for with apartments in Berkeley, and I'm feeling pretty lucky to have found this place.
