Close to campus but that's about it

I have been living in the Highland Apartments for 1/2 a year or so now and while I love the location, I can't say that much else has a ton of redeeming qualities. The management from Brick & Timber has felt much more like trying to extract as much from tenants than it is about ensuring that they have an enjoyable experience and are well cared for. As far as I can tell any day-to-day management and up keep of the complex is largely the result of tenants and not from some central management. Form me personally my apartment is nice but the laundry unit doesn't work to clean clothes nor does the hot water work as you would expect for a place with the rent that I pay. I guess what I am saying is that outside of the location, the complex offers very little that isn't taken care of by the initiative of the tenants and that has been disappointing. I would certainly consider moving if it weren't for the fact that I live on the third floor of a building that is so strangely constructed that it would make moving an incredibly hassle.

Place just isn't worth the money

Lived here 1 year. Had many issues with the apartment. Pool on site wasn't available the entirety of my time here. Community spaces are poorly furnished. The only thing I really enjoyed was how close my apartment was to campus.
