I have lived here for one year so far. It is a safe quiet residence close to downtown and very affordable. I am renewing my lease for another year.
Not Bad
Enjoyed living here the only problems I have is the constant problems with the water that sometimes gets turned off for a whole day.
Not at all what I was expecting.
When we toured Fern Parc, we were told that all units were recently remodeled and in excellent condition. We quickly found out upon moving in that that was not the case. Our shower had a huge crack in it, the tile was falling off the walls, every cabinet door in the kitchen was covered in some nasty grimey grease that would not come off and all the cabinet doors were crooked (their hinges broken and would barely hold). Our AC hardly ever worked and when we complained about it we felt like we were overlooked, our power bill was over $250 most of our time there for only 2 people living in the unit (we compared our bill to our neighbors and they never spent over $80), so there was obviously something wrong with our AC and it was very frustrating that after living there for a year it never got fixed. The common areas around the complex were NEVER clean or well maintained. The pool was always nasty, the water looked like it was never cleaned, the facilities were never maintained, and the community laundry was always an issue. It was a very discouraging year living at the Watts, it is not at all worth the price.
