Literally the WORST apt company ever!

In case anyone needs a reminder that Weidner apartments is a terrible company I just got a 10 day notice to quit for a $80 random fee (The notice says $51.69 because I always pay extra on my rent just in case) from OCTOBER that I tried to call them about on Saturday. They never returned my call about it and now I have a notice. They also do a terrible job with the parking lot, I've gotten my car stuck and had to get towed out 3 TIMES, fallen multiple and sprained my ankle and broke my toe. If you live in or have been to a Weidner apt since the snow you know how god awful it is. They did such a shit job doing previous repairs on this place, the plates for the heaters on the wall are constantly coming off, our shower head won't stop falling out of the wall, our freezer won't stop over freezing and our fridge is freezing everything, the paint is peeling off at random spots. They won't put screens in our windows and told us to pay for them ourselves if we want them. Our neighbors are loud and obnoxious and leave trash everywhere. The neighbors will block in your car if they feel like it, all for the wonderful price of $1570 a month. I know it's like a given that they are terrible, but we needed somewhere to move to but if I could go back I would honestly rather have no where to live than live here. If you read this thanks for listening to my rant, I am just beyond pissed off and frustrated and I can't even go down there even if I got there at 5 when the notice is time stamped because they close at 5

4 months of heating problems

I moved in on May 5, 2022. The heating hasn't ever worked properly since my move-in day. I have had to either deal with 80 + degree temps inside if the heating is not turned off at the boiler, or no heat when the zone valve is completely turned off. I have made 3 formal online maintenance requests to have this handled and multiple informal requests when speaking with the property manager. It seems like I'm just getting the run around at this point since the manager just blames it on the maintenance department and the maintenance person says the head of maintenance needs to schedule a plumber to fix the zone valve. I was even told by a maintenance person that they are currently working on 20+ unoccupied units at the Strawberry Hill complex and that is probably why the problem hasn't been addressed. It's sad that possible future customers are given priority over existing tenants maintenance issues.
