- Both you and your furry companion are welcome at SODO. Enjoy the easy access to our landscaped off leash green space on our 5th floor terrace while also being close to city parks and sidewalks. We also have a dog wash on site, so pet owners need not worry about booking appointments to get their four-legged friends bathed or cleaned before going home. We allow a maximum of two (2) of the following*: Domestic (indoor) cats Dogs (excluding Pitbulls, Dobermans, Mastiffs, Rottweilers, and any other similar breeds of dog that are customarily bred or trained as guard dogs or attack dogs). Birds (limit one cage of four birds). Fish (tank volume must not exceed 30gal/113L) * Please note that we require a $350 non-refundable pet fee per animal.

Love living here
Just don't want to see continual and significant increases to my rent. Existing residents in good standing should receive benefits same as those who move in (one month free on two bedrooms) besides having to negotiate and only being offered 500 to start. Staff is sometimes hard to access. Gym is good. Cleaners always busy. No parking for visitors is tough.
Easy Fixes
The elevators are a massive pain, there has been multiple issues with sorting out payments and lockers and parking. That being said the maintenance staff has been great, and staff have done their best to fix the issues, after they are brought to attention. Payment issues could be easily sorted by flagging issues properly, rather than hiding them in another account. The place is nice, but combining all the costs it doesn't hold value as well as it could. It's especially frustrating paying this amount when the elevators keep going down, and the wait times are 15 minutes one way.
Expect rent hikes and elevators that don't work
They wanted to raise my rent 15% so anticipate that upon renewal. I still have no official signed contract do to the inability of staff to create one to reflect what they agreed to and never followed up. Elevators never seem to work so expect to lose 20 mins a day waiting.
SODO Review
I have lived here almost 2 years. I do enjoy living in this building, the units are great, well laid out with a good use of space. I think that the rent increases for longer term tenants have not really been fair. I think that SODO should offer some incentive for staying considering there are lots of other options available to me. The building constantly has issues with the elevators, they are very inconvenient. During the lockdowns none of the amenities were available to residents. it would have been nice to have some level of compensation for this considering that is a selling feature of the buildings.
Enjoyed my Stay at SODO
I lived at SODO for a little over a year and enjoyed my time there. I used the fitness gym in the building everyday, which was a lifesaver during COVID. The staff are generally quite friendly and maintenance requests were always processed in a day or two. I think the price is very reasonable for the location and quality of the condo.
