Good experience overall

I’ve been living here for a year and it’s been great overall. I don’t really need much from management, but the few times I’ve had to reach out, they’ve been easy to deal with. The place is comfortable and nice. The gym is a nice bonus, it’s clean and has what you need, just a bit on the smaller side. Other than that, no complaints, but Air conditioning would be nice.

No maintenance, noisy & hot

Noisy & hot as no sound insulation, construction in the area & no air conditioning. Maintenance does not get done despite multiple requests which leaves issues within the units unresolved. Wonderful resident manager.

Needs Improvement

I have found that resident managers do not respond to email or call almost ever. We have had serious incidents in the building such as people throwing lit cigarettes into the mail recycling in the lobby, watching residents throw lit cigarettes onto other people's balconies and into the bushes, etc. There is consistent noise from upstairs neighbours and parents allowing their children to run around inside and outside without supervision. The gym is 18+ but often has kids sprinting around in it and using the machines. Having us pay for visitor parking is absolutely ridiculous, and $60/month per indoor parking space is too high. There should at least be 3 hours free for visitor. The cleaner shows up about once a month (if that) and barely cleans anything. She is incredibly unfriendly and management has had to ask her to actually clean things properly. THERE IS NO A/C IN THIS BUILDING, HAVING APARTMENTS SIT AT 28+ DEGREES IN THE SUMMER IS INHUMANE! There aren't even ceiling fans! The rent here is also higher than average for the city, and due to a serious lack of amenities or courtesy from managers I don't see why it should be $2000+ a month for only 2 bedrooms. We constantly see people moving out, but not many moving in.

Could use Improvements, but not bad

I've been here for a year and a half so far and have very much enjoyed my time here. The apartment is beautiful, the view even more so, and in general I haven't had trouble with neighbours or noise or the like. The gym is small, but it has all the machines you need. I wish it had somewhere to fill a water bottle, but otherwise it's enough for most people's day to day workout. And the location of the building is perfect; plenty of shopping nearby, easy highway access, and plenty of parks around. My troubles are mostly minor: -The amenity room, for one, is pretty useless. It costs an arm and a leg to rent and you get nothing for your trouble. You get no internet (for games or the like), no special fob so others can't get in (at least we didn't when we rented it), and you have to clean the room yourself so it's ready for the next person. All in all it's a nice room, but you're paying through the nose to get... a room. Nothing else. -The stairwells are rarely cleaned. I know the public areas are vacuumed every day, but the stairwells have had stains and dirt and dust collecting on the baseboards, railings, and walls, since I moved in. I've even cleaned them a bit myself because it was bothering me so much (I'm a house cleaner, so I have my stuff with me all the time). -The mirror in the gym is also cleaned only once a week or less. But the machines are very well maintained, so that's the more important thing, I suppose. -Maintenance requests are harder through the tenant portal. My first time making a request I found out it didn't even go through (I was able to fix the issue myself thankfully) and this most recent time it went through, but I wasn't told when/if they're going to get to it. Whereas when I simply emailed the building manager before the tenant portal, issues were dealt with pretty quickly and easily. That's about it. Like I said, a lot of it is minor, but it does add up.

Feedback for Nolan rise

At first i noticed that i could hear every noise from surrounding my apartment. i could hear the ding of the elevator and the tv downstairs. The unit is also incredibly hot, on days when it is only 10 degrees outside the unit reaches 25-30 degrees inside. Then there is also the issue of the blinds. The property management should have picked betger blinds as the current ones do not block the light at all, the street lights in the parking lot of very bright at all hours of the day and the blinds do not help this issue. When i moved into the unit, there was construction dirt everywhere, there is still caked on reminants of construction in my unit, indicating that whoever built the unit was not careful to not get dirt on things such as cabinet handles, etc.
