I have lived in the building for a little over a year. The location is great and the staff is wonderful. So glad I signed a 2 year lease!
I am a huge fan of 12 Eckford. Quiet place, not much happens, everything is clean, packages arrive. Just great.
This is a building that I would really love to stay for a long time. The whole team has been a pleasure to work with.

If you check rental websites, many current tenants are subletting their units. Many are also leaving. The best thing about this building is the staff, that's it. Noisy neighborhood (like living on the LES), inconsiderate neighbors, constant emails from management asking tenants to be courteous to others due to various issues all the time. Check the hidden yelp reviews. I didn't stick out my lease.

Just moved into the building this month. All staff from management to super to concierge seem wonderful. Was a little disappointed to have to pay an amenity fee after being told that the building did not have an amenity fee. When we applied for the apartment there was not amenity fee associated with the apartment and we feel that should have been grandfathered in. Other than this issue everything seems to be good.
Maintenance slow. Concierge ok. Super ok. Lease office hmmm.
