ABC storage bends over backwards to assure everything will go according to the promises made By the staff... WARNING !!! Not True !! I made arragements 2 weeks prior to moving from Texas. They actually said they had no climate control units the size I needed. "LISA" spoke to the owner & called back with a plan to remove walls in units to make a unit large enough for My needs. I rented 3 units from them at that time & paid for those, 3 locks & a $10 set up fee. I gave the dates I would be there to "LISA" only to arrive to find one of My units rented & no walls removed to make up the unit promised !!! They had not prepared for My arrival at all. Their reasoning was I should have called to confirm the arrival date. The dates were given at the time of rental. So, Here I am with NO STORAGE and a Moving Company from Texas with a 36' trailer & No where to unload. MY THANKS TO LISA !!! I was charged $181.50 at the time of My rental( 2 weeks prior to move). I had to scramble to find a solution !!! (Thank You U-HAUL !!!) ABC had nothing ready, 1 of My agreed upon units rented & wants to charge 2 days rent !! Refunding only $100.50. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE !!! ... Read more

This place is, in my opinion, the best place to store things. The unit I rented (10x20) was clean, and looks well built to keep drafts and the elements out. Lisa assisted me for the entire process, and was exceptionally pleasant to work with. I only plan on keeping a vehicle here for the winter, but I'd never hesitate to do business here in the future for any other storage needs. ... Read more

Seems like a well kept well secured storage space the units are logically marked and easy to navigate one bid draw back is that most isles are dead ends. If your pulling a trailer it would behoove you to be very good at backing your trailer. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at ABC Mini Storage - 124 Western Avenue include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
