We rented a unit for the past 4 months and had a great experience. The place is huge and has a lot of variety as far as unit sizes, so there is something that will fit your need. The outside is very well lit (helps a LOT at night) and clean. We rented a unit during the middle of a Wisconsin winter and the facility was always plowed. We never had issues with getting access to our unit. The units are well built with tall ceilings. No water damage to any of stuff stored inside. Pricing was more than fair. The owner, Casey, is friendly and responsive. We couldn't have asked for more! Highly recommend! ... Read more

The storage unit seems to have issues receiving and sending mail. I originally signed a contract that was later to be mailed to me, I never received it until a month later when it was remailed. I mailed in this months rent and received a message it was not received. I was contacted by one of the employees Cassey who advised I should drop it off in empty unit 16 and let him know where it was. I did as he asked and sent photos to him showing I dropped it off. Cassey said he never received the photos or second check. Not sure what is happening but I have important things in the unit that I don't want to lose because Conger Storage keeps saying they are not receiving my payments. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Conger Storage - 2953 Jackson Street include the following amenities: 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access and Unstaffed Location. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 100 to 2,640 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Conger Storage - 2953 Jackson Street start from $80 and can go up to $1,000 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
