Read some helpful reviews of Towne Storage at 3015 West 4000 South, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

This Company won't send you a late notice until after the day you are late, forcing you to pay a late fee of $20 each time. Owner or manager unnegotiable. No call backs when you asked to speak for management. Overpriced for what you get and difficult to work with. They're call center is great though, but they can't do much. Pretty filthy units. The back of two of the units were waterlogged. I paid three days into the month and then moved out. Although asked for management to see if I can get any of the month's rent back, absolutely no call back No real concessions, after their gimmicks. I would not recommend. So many better places around. ... Read more

I have been a customer at this facility for about ten years with two units and C&E were pretty decent to deal with. But since Towne Storage took over two months ago, they have been a pain to deal with. I have a few units around the Ogden/west haven area and Towne has been the worst. About a month ago someone smashed into a neighboring unit and there hasn’t been anything done with it, the garage is still smashed to hell and the residents stuff is getting destroyed in the weather.. Terrible customer service also.. Would NOT recommend ... Read more

Have a unit there. Once you get a hold of them it is easy to get set up and in a unit. I signed up for auto pay and it is frustrating. All the other storage units I've ever had took out the payment on the first of every month. This place takes the money out randomly, sometimes in the beginning of the month, sometimes in the middle of the month, sometimes at the end of the month, sometimes miss a month, and sometimes take out two payments. ... I've been with them, off and on for 10 years. Steady for the past 4-5 years. Sean's taken good care of my three units since I've been there. Easy to work with. Especially if you ever get behind once in a while. Great prices for the size! I wouldn't go anywhere else! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Towne Storage - 3015 West 4000 South start from $56 and can go up to $218 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
