I’m currently renting a space and I’m quite happy with the services this far besides one thing, but a pretty big thing. The services have been great, the staff are kind, the facility and clean and they seem to always have a cart available by the door for lugging large and heavy items to your unit. I love that it’s also climate controlled. The biggest thing I am happy about, and largely why I decided to write a review was because staff came across my unit which was apparently unlocked without the padlock to be found, and they called me and immediately locked it back up with a new key, and sent it to me via mail. I’m not sure why, but this was a pleasant surprise. I have it in my head that other facilities would never put in the effort and care to do so for their clients. So thats all why I love this place. But my biggest issue, an issue that may well have me leaving to find anew facility, is that they raised my prices after a few months only, of renting there. I can barely afford it and I honestly don’t think it was fair. I chose this place because of what I thought I’d be paying for what I was getting. And then shortly after, that was taken from me. I’ve continued renting, but starting to fall behind. And risking losing my belongings just doesn’t make sense. So I may have to leave. So I gave 4 stars because while I love the place, the price ordeal is a 5 star deal breaker. Update: I talked to them last week, and they tried to say they almost doubled my price because it was supposed to be a oromotion only even though no one explained that to me or my mother. Or the several times had talked to them in months. All the sudden, this is the case. And they charged me for the lock and key and mail. I realized, how odd that all the sudden my unit was unlocked shortly after the changed the locks because I was behind in payments.. now I’ve come to realize it was THEM who left my storage unlocked!!! And they are charging ME for it! I’m white upset that so many things have been messed with, and it’s disappointing because I was really happy with the place in the beginning and left nice reviews. Now I am straight baffled. They are lying to me, and risking my belongings, and blaming me for it by charging me. I don’t know what to do or say. I hope that they make this right, and out me back kn the plan I had in the first place, and take responsibility for leaving my unit unlocked, and refund the charges. So disappointing. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Draper Self Storage - 13053 Minuteman Drive include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 360 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Draper Self Storage - 13053 Minuteman Drive start from $63 and can go up to $500 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
