Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 6330 Market Street, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Picked this place due to closeness to my home and also Public Storage is a well known name. It is super nasty in here, I signed up online so I had no idea. The second you open the door to the units a huge whiff a urine hits you, similar to a condemned home. The elevators work maybe half the time and you can grab a dolly with one of the handles broken off to get to your unit. The rat poop thing is real I just moved out and had to wear gloves to wipe off the tops of my boxes. I moved over to Extra Space on Sansom Street it's so wildly better and cheaper wish I did more research to save some time. ... Read more

UPDATE!!! This is a buyer's beware warning! Public Storage has embedded in your rental agreement that they may raise you rent at any time without reason. As they always say, "it's in the fine print...". I wouldn't have brought this up except for the fact that my rent went up almost 50%. I could understand $5 maybe $10 but 50%? From $49 to $70is a big difference especially when your money is mapped out and budgeted. It didn't come without warning. They sent an email to one of my 8 email accounts...(who checks all their emails like that?)...so I asked, "Why didn't someone call?" Because they call you when you're late with the rent. Had I taken the time to read the fine print, I definitely would have questioned the reason for this and more than likely chose a different storage company. ... Read more

So I'm gonna be honest the people that work here are lovely and always accommodating when I go to the office but the people that have storage units here trash the place. I feel sorry for the workers having to deal with all that trash and those people. I mind my business take my things to my storage unit and carry on with my day. My unit is clean and well-maintained. Now the property itself is trashed but that isn't a result of the people that work there but the people that rent units there. ... Read more

63rd and Market Location Updated Review: 3 STARS ??? - Easy to enter the gate with one click of a button on PS app - no need to exit car - Two different entrances - one elevator per entrance. The entrances both have a small lip that makes it very difficult to pull the carts on and off smoothly. - Carts aren't always available which was frustrating. - Price increased by $32 within 6 months. I called and got a 3 month extension to delay increase. - Moved out before price increase, gave notice as instructed on contract, but still received another statement even though my account was closed out and in good standing. Called and got them to make adjustment easily. Felt like unnecessary labor put on the customer. ----------------------------------------------- Just rented a unit today. Mona at the front desk was incredibly warm and welcoming. She seemed very knowledgeable about the premises (many storage units feel like a maze) and gave me excellent tips on how to find my unit. Paper work was a breeze. I would recommend this place for Mona's customer service alone. Pictured is a 5x10 unit with very tall walls ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 6330 Market Street include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 6330 Market Street start from $39 and can go up to $208 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
