All of my belongings were very well taken care of during my time using this facility. However, we had a slight hiccup during the move out process. I called to ask about move out procedures (they were not listed on the website at the time) and was told that there was no paperwork needed from me and all I'd need to do was leave the door open as a clear indicator that I would no longer be using the unit. I made sure to remove everything from the unit before the next billing cycle and left the door open as instructed. A few days later I saw that my automatic payment had been taken out despite me following the instructions I was given. I called in for some clarification and was told that my payment had been initiated on their end and that I'd receive a refund in the next few days. A full week passed, and I had not received a refund or an update, so I called again for further clarification. I was told that the refund had not been initiated yet but that the process would be started that day. I received a full refund a few days later. I am not unhappy with the outcome or the customer service, but I do highly recommend that the facility works on their communication skills within because the whole situation gave the impression that not everyone is on the same page. ... I honestly had one of the best experiences I've had with any storage facility, today, then I've had, ever. Amanda, from Pottsville, was ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL. I was behind and was at the point were my unit would be auctioned off, she was wonderful. She was not rude, condescending, belittling, but helpful, so kind, and understanding of my situation. I wanted to get my payment to her asap, and had planned on running there right after work, well torrential downpours made driving slightly dangerous; rather than me drive there, Amanda suggested payment over the phone! Concerned for my safety! You don't get that kind of service anywhere!! She is absolutely amazing and I will not be going anywhere else. This girl is 100% THE BEST! ... Read more

We made arrangements for a unit here and real good service by owner whom gave us the contract and pricing. We took a one year term for our kids. She was very helpful. The only thing here is that it is 5 to 10 dollars pricier than others which might explain why they had availability. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Storage Sense - 1935 Long Run Road include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 350 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Storage Sense - 1935 Long Run Road start from $94 and can go up to $209 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
